About Longispates bamboo

Dendrocalamus longispathus, commonly known as long-sheath bamboo, is a large, clump-forming bamboo species characterized by its tall, greyish-green culms (stems) and long culm sheaths. It can grow up to 18 meters tall with culm diameters ranging from 6 to 10 cm. The internodes (sections between nodes) are typically 25-60 cm long. It's a valuable species found in moist, tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, including India and Indo- China
